Carrollton Welcomes Fastball to Festival Lineup

The Austin-based, Grammy-nominated trio will play new music from its sixth studio album, currently being recorded, as well as chart-topping hits “The Way,” “Out of My Head,” and “Fire Escape.” After rising to prominence in the late 1990s with the record All the Pain Money Can Buy which reached platinum sales within six months of its release and stayed on the Billboard 200 chart for a year, the band continues to tour and record. The group’s cleverly spun tracks land them in the same echelon with acts like The Wallflowers and the Ryan Adams-fronted Whiskeytown. Ten years after their hit "The Way" was written and recorded, the single earned the No. 94 spot on VH1’s 100 Greatest Songs of the ‘90s.
